
Born and raised in Milan, Italy; Eva Re is a multidisciplinary choreographer and dance artist based in New York City, NY.
She began her dance training at the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School, under the direction of Ariel and Wilmian Serrano.
Eva joined Retazos, a contemporary dance company based in Havana, Cuba; and represented Cuba with a solo work by Isabel Bustos at the International Choreographic Ballet Competition in Havana, Cuba.
She was awarded a full scholarship to train at the Ruth Page Civic Ballet of Chicago Training company, under the direction of Victor Alexander, touring both nationally and internationally.
Eva later attended the Alvin Ailey Scholarship program, a two-year program under the direction of Tracy Inman; where she had a chance to perform with the company in their New York City’s Center season.
She performed at NYC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2019, and at Battery Dance Festival 2020 in NYC .
Eva moved to San Francisco and joined Alonzo King Lines Ballet training program, under the direction of Karah Abiog.
She was a member of Emerging Choreographer Forum of SF, hosted by Mark Foehringer. and received the Gary Lindsay dance scholarship award 2022.
Eva was appointed Russian Pointe Brand dancer2022.
She is currently working on her BA in Computer Science and Dance at Columbia University.
