Brooklyn native Jared Lewis (J-Red) began dancing at the age of five with his church community. It was there he developed a passion for the arts and joined Creative Outlet Dance Theatre of Brooklyn. He studied in various dance styles such as African, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Modern Movement. Jared’s love for dance has afforded him the opportunity to perform with people like celebrities like Lil Mama, 2x NBA All-Star Rashard Lewis and Michael Jackson. He also has performed for Classical Theater of Harlem in “Romeo and Juliet” and the 2015 Rocawear campaign featuring Fabulous. In addition to teaching throughout the NYC area Mr.Lewis has spent time teaching in Springfield, Massachusetts at a local dance intensive. His dedication to teaching the youth was inspired by his own upbringing, dance being the outlet that gave him discipline and motivation. Jared hopes to continue that legacy by inspiring those he crosses paths with everyday.
