Myles King, originally from Brooklyn, NY, is a graduate of the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance. At Purchase, Myles received the Adopt-A-Dancer Scholarship and the 2022 Outstanding Senior Dance Award. Myles is a former company member with the Peridance Contemporary Dance Company. He has also danced with The Manhattan Ballet School as a guest artist and with the Traverse City Dance Project for their 2021 & 2022 Summer Residency Seasons. Myles’ choreographic works have been presented at the Battery Dance Festival, the Manhattan Ballet School and the SUNY Purchase Dance Theatre Lab. His previous training includes The Ailey School and Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School. Myles has performed works by notable choreographers such as Igal Perry, Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Robert Battle, Bradley Shelver, Mike Tyus, Chanel DaSilva, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Jae Man Joo, Jessica Lang, Dolly Sfeir and more. He has attended summer intensives at The School at Jacob’s Pillow, The Ailey School, Ballet Academy East and the Dwana Smallwood Performing Arts Center.
